SQL interface for complex searches in the Current Index to Statistics
New Features
Eased phrase entry rules; Partial keyword search
5 June 2001 The format for entering names, titles and journal titles has been relaxed, so extra spaces will not prevent matches. See the Help Page at "Wildcards".
A new feature for "Partial keyword" searches has been added, to identify alternative phrases in the keyword field including a given word. See the Help Page at "Queries using only the first box".
Using wildcards; improved handling of wildcards in author searches
17 May 2001 Wildcards can be used in most search fields. Wildcards are assumed by default in most searches (e.g. at the end of an author name), but can be suppressed using the "@" sign. See the Help Page at "Wildcards".
The improved handling of wildcards has made it possible to handle a bug in Partial Author Name links. Each name under output from this option will link only to exact matches to that form of the name, not to partial matches.
