CIS AT JOINT STATISTICAL MEETINGS, 2001 IN ATLANTA
The Current Index to Statistics Editors and Management Committee are sponsoring a public session at the 2001 Joint Statistical Meetings in Atlanta. At this session, we will
The session will take place on Sunday, August 5 at 6:00 PM in the Hilton, Grand Salon B (check final program to confirm location). Many new initiatives are taking place in CIS, and we welcome your input.
- demonstrate new search software available for Web access and for personal computer (Mac and Windows) users,
- describe plans for ongoing development of CIS,
- answer questions,
- solicit questions and feedback from those attending, and
- describe opportunities for participating in the work of CIS.
There will also be a CIS table open through most of the conference near the ASA and IMS membership tables. Several different forms of search software will be available for you to try out on-line. Please drop by to try out our new products.
