PRICES INCREASE JULY 1, 2002
The Current Index to Statistics Management Committee has decided to increase prices for institutional licenses for CIS/ED (in both Web and CDROM forms) by approximately 20 percent, effective with orders taken starting July 1, 2002. Personal license prices are unchanged.
This is our first price increase since the CIS/ED was initiated in 1992. It was made necessary by increasing costs, especially for data-entry personnel, and by the fact that the CIS/ED has replaced the Print Volume as our main product and must now bear the full costs of bibliographic database development. We believe that our prices are still very reasonable and will do our best to hold the line against future increases.
For details of revised prices see http://www.statindex.org/CIS/homepage/prices.html.
